My Calendly events are not being recorded
If you're finding that events in your calendar created with Calendly are not being briefed or recorded, it is likely related to your Calendly settings.
Within Calendly, you have 2 different ways to notify your participants about the slot they have booked: calendar invitation or email confirmation.
When your Calendly is set up to send calendar invitations to those who book slots in your calendar, they will receive a calendar invitation and the event will be added to their calendar. This way, they will appear in the attendee list of your event, so the meeting will be briefed and recorded by Rippletide.
When your Calendly is set up to send email confirmations to those who book slots in your calendar, they will receive an email with links to create their own calendar event. This way, they will not appear in the attendee list of your event, but will instead have a duplicate version of the event in their calendar, so the meeting cannot be briefed or recorded by Rippletide.
To switch to calendar invitations:
Go to the settings of your Calendly event and "Edit".
Click on the section "Notifications and workflows".
Under "Basic notifications", the first notification you see will be either a "Calendar invitation" or "Email confirmation". In order for Rippletide to record your Calendly events, this must be set to "Calendar invitation". To change it, click on the 3 dots and "Edit".
In the top left, you will see an option to "Switch to calendar invitation".
Save your settings to send calendar invitations when people book slots in your calendar in future.
