How to schedule a meeting to be recorded with Rippletide

In this guide, we'll walk you through the different ways you can schedule Rippletide to record a meeting.

Option 1: Connect your calendar

To make your meeting recording scheduling as seamless as possible, connect your work calendar to your Rippletide account.

You can connect either your Google or Microsoft Teams calendar directly from your account dashboard, or within the calendar settings of your account, in just a couple of clicks.

You can find more information about connecting your calendar in this article.

Once your calendar is synced, you'll begin to see your upcoming meetings displayed on your account dashboard. Meetings will be displayed when they have both:
A video call URL.
At least one external event attendee.

All calendar events that are displayed in your dashboard are scheduled to be recorded by Rippletide, meaning that when the time of the meeting comes, RIppletide will request to join the meeting. All you have to do is accept the request, then let Rippletide do its job!

Option 2: Invite Rippletide's coach to your meetings

To record a meeting without having your calendar synced, you can simply invite coach@rippletide.com to the calendar event.

Once you've invited coach, the meeting will appear in your Rippletide account dashboard. When the time of the meeting comes, Rippletide will request to join the meeting as usual, and all you have to do is accept the request to record the meeting.

Note: If your calendar is connected, you do not need to invite coach to an event that is already in your calendar. As long as it meets the criteria above, it will already be scheduled to record.
